How to curl Your hair A Step By Step Guide

If you are like me,you probably got tired of reading different list post of articles out there that only try to endorse few list of ways to curl your hair.

And, guess what? Every list claims that it is the best .

Why should you trust them?

And in my search for a perfect list of hair curling, after researching and reading a lot of blogger list, I narrowed it down to more comprehensive   41 ways on how curl your hair : THE COMPLETE LIST

                                   Use Best Curling Iron

1.INSTANT Heat up the curling iron. You might think that higher heat or longer curling is the answer, but it’s not. In fact, there are some different setting you can play around with until you achieve the best result.

Try to maintain the lowest temperature possible  otherwise  that could damage your hair . For example : Remember that video of the poor girl who burned her hair off with a curling iron?

2. Completely blow dryer your hair. Completely dry your hair first.  Run a blow dryer .  The faster your hair dries, the quicker your cuticles will lay down. As Drybar founder Alli Webb told InStyle,  if your hair is too wet, it will take much too long to dry.

3.Detangles your hair using straightening brushes. With hair straightening brushes you can get the look of permanently straightened hair without the commitment or the damage, and that’s why they are my favorite hair styling tools.

4.Use heat protection spray. Use a heat protection spray to protect your hair from the damage caused by exposure to high temperatures and prevent it from becoming dry and frazzled looking.

5.Divide your hair into sections. Spliting your  hair into sections make you get better results if you work with small sections of hair. That way, you can make sure you’re curling everything makes application time shorter, more efficient, and curl in a more uniform style.

So How Do I Section My Natural Hair?

Make sure parts are equal, with workable sections of hair.

Twist or clip each section so that they don’t mix.

Start from the bottom up – back to front.

Be patient.

Don’t change the routine mid-head.

Section your hair exactly as you plan to wear it. angel the routine mid-head.

6.Start curling.After you have done all prep work ,get ready to start curling. Begin by taking a small section of hair and wrap it around the curling iron, start at the top or bottom, depending on the type of curling iron in use .Let look at the 2 type of curling iron:

1.Curling Iron With A Clamp :If you are using these type position your hair at the end of the barrel, close the clamp. Then  wrap  entire section of your hair around the iron, by rolling the iron upwards towards your roots. Stop the rolling  an inch away from the roots, to prevent the iron from burning your scalp.

2.Curling Iron Without A Clamp :However, if you use a curling iron without a clamp you also position your hand close to hair wrap it around the iron. Also make sure you  to hold the end of your hair in place while that section of hair curls. Most of the curling iron product come also comes with  a safety glove that you can wear to prevent your hand from burning.


7. Hold The Iron In Place i.e Vertically  With the cord aiming toward the ceiling, hold the iron vertically for a loose, uniform wave. Hold the hair in place for a few seconds, only clamping down gently at the very end before releasing the curl. Repeat throughout the rest of the hair.

8. Second Curling i.e Curl The Other Side

Once you are through with your first curling then, move to the next hair and practice the same steps as before. Wrap your curls with the iron in the same direction, for the curl to look alike.

9. Release Your Curls

For you to experience softening and loosing hair look you need to run fingers through your curls. Your head can be turn upside down and apply your hand to fluff up in order to separate the curls.

10. Hairspray Your Curls : The next step is to set your curl with hairspray, this will prevent you to worried at your hair to turn frizzy or failling out throughout the day. You can hairspray your curl individually in order to bring tight curls, but if you want to experince loose style you need to relaxed a while before you spray your entire hait.

How Do You Hairspray Your Curl

  1. Spray the curl 30.5cm -35.5cm away from your head
  2. Do not ever hairspray your curls while they are still around the curling iron, the alcohol and heat from the iron will fry your hair.
  3. Select a loose hold hairspray in order not to have stiff or crunchy in your curls.

                       Use Best Flat Iron
